Welcome

The Central Texas Medical Foundation is a nonprofit organization with a staff of public health professionals, social scientists and physicians with demonstrated experience in program management, health communications, evaluation and assessment, training and the development and oversight of medical research grants programs.

For over 10 years we have worked or partnered with other nonprofit organizations, medical research institutions, community coalitions and neighborhood groups to advance public health and medical research. Whether it is working to reduce youth access to tobacco or supporting new discoveries in cancer research, The Central Texas Medical Foundation has consistently been at the forefront of efforts to improve the health of individuals and communities in the Central Texas area and throughout the country. The combination of our public health expertise and our medical research philanthropic experience has lead to new advances in medicine and innovative efforts in community health improvement.

Our Community Programs offers an array of services designed to support advances in prevention and health promotion while our Medical Research Grants Division offers the only philanthropic advisory service in the country that specializes in the creation and management of medical research grants programs.

Special thanks to our sponsors in 2008 for making much of our research possible.. Noteably, Conquest Imaging who has a large client base in Dallas and Houston. Conquest has been very actively involved in the medical community with their effors to promote education of the states clinical and biomedical engineering community in Texas and California offering ultrasound training scholarships up to $70,000 in ultrasound repair classes for probes and machines.
